International Mailing list for Pétanque Lovers
There is a mailing list for the lovers of pétanqe. Its' aims are to give the opportunity to talk about pétanqe, to promote bigger international competitions and to give the results of the bigger competitions. There currently 40 participants.
Anyone can join the list and send messages to other subscribers via a single address. The list is maintained by Jukka Poyry, and is intended to be in English, but a bit of Dutch creeps in from time to time.

New Piste at Dog and Bull in Croydon
Planning permission has been granted ( after some objection from the council ) for the construction of a petanqe piste at the Dog and Bull in Surrey Street, Croydon.
The Dog and Bull is a Youngs pub, what a combination ..... Petanque and superb beer. Details and dates are not available at the moment, but I will include them as I here more.
Great news Youngs, I hope it goes well.
I am told John Young ( one of the leading lights in the brewery) plays petanque, mainly in Belgium.
